Abstract
18 life story accounts by women drafted into sexual slavery before and during the Pacific War by the Japanese military, collected (in Korean) by the Korean Councils for Women Drafted into Military Sexual Slavery. Here translated and edited, with two position chapters by Keith Howard considering women in Korea and the issue of sexual slavery, and a concluding legal statement.
