Abstract
A new join of fragments excavated at Tell Tayinat on the Amuq plain in Hatay province Turkey in 2012 clarifies the form of the country name Palastin/Walastin, which is now associated by some with the name of the Philistines known from the southern Levant in the Hebrew Bible.
