Provides detailed country profile on arbitration in Nigeria. It details applicable legislations; differences with the Model Law on International Commercial Arbitration which is the basis of the Nigerian Arbitration and Conciliation Act; arbitration related international conventions Nigeria has ratified; some additional details on the practice of arbitration in Nigeria; relevant courts and their attitude towards arbitration; enforcement of awards and current trends on arbitration in Nigeria including on investor-state arbitration.
